Shred Day 14 - 09/10 Season

02.15.10

In honor of all of our Presidents, I shredded in the sun. Not bad.
I got up there right at opening and immediately hit the fresh corduroy grooms which were really fast and really empty. The early morning fog was hovering low as the sun was breaking it down into vapor, really beautiful. It was so nice to see this hills without fog, hell without a cloud! I love this state, and I love that I get to ride in the hills every weekend. Off the groomers wasn't the best snow, so i stayed in the high speed grooms. The backside stayed pretty empty all day so I sessioned that with my music blaring. I felt pretty great and pretty connected. Since Southern Cross is still closed, they opened up a way to get to Jupiter via the next run over which I have never seen before. Jupiter was very rolly and had huge banks which made deep turns feel like a Suger G course actually creating some G feelings. Really fun feeling on that run. I finished off the day with some park runs and got back on those baby boxes for another shot. Late lunch was again provided by Sultan Bakery, can't get enough of that bread. Can't complain, spring in February.
