We miss our girl so much. Sarah's parents have taken the roll of Doodle Guardian until our return. We hear stories about her weekly as well as receive photos of her usual shenanigans. She guards the backyard at both grandparents houses of any type of ground rodent or bird. I hear stories of her getting full range of Grandma Vickii's house without any supervision. I also hear that she is a sock-gatherer finding lost socks from very unusual places. She met her cousin Boo who is a Sheepadoodle puppy. Apparently Boo is infactuated with Lola's tail because he doesn't have one. Vickii takes her to the dog park at Marymoore and let's her run in the mud on rainy days and also has been known to drive to Burgermaster for milkshakes with her in the passenger seat. She also loves to ride in Grandpas truck and curls right up to him and rests her head on his leg while they drive.
Sarah and I are a mess, we can't wait to see her. We have photos of her in our living room which helps. Every time we see a dog in public we point it out to each other or try to give them a pet, it is just like how we were before we had a dog longing for one. We sent her a kangaroo toy to play with, maybe it will inspire her to jump on a plane.
We thank both of our parents for taking such great care of her for us.
