Amber in OZ?!?! Thank you so much for making the trek to visit us, it meant so much to us. After security decided to break and not replace one of Ambers's $70.00 bottles of Absolute, I did manage to pick her up bright and early. We did a quick tour of Brisbane,had a coffee in Southbank, and headed to Surfers. I first introduced her to the city by taking her 72 floors up to the top of the Q1 tower for arial views of the skyline and coast. Amber got the Wytt'en Tour de Coast, and visited the Zoo, our Surf Club, a few of our favorite restaurants, wine and spirit tasting at Mt. Tamborine with a bushwalk, canal boat cruise, a trip to Byron Bay, and a moonlight beach BBQ. The weather dropped to the low 70's so we were freezing in hoods as Amber was in full summer attire which was a hilarious site wherever we went. I think she made some friends at the Zoo, I don't think I have seen her smile that big ever. We played drinking Guess Who, think about that for a second. We made a day trip to Byron bay and had a killer time there with a cruisy beach day and some shopping. It was really nice hearing about life back home with stories about friends and experiences that have happened over the months. We miss our friends terribly and having Amber visit us was just what we needed before we finish our last few months here. Mohalo.
