Parks invited me to a little adventure down to Portland to pick up a couple cases of Hair of the Dog's Cherry Adam limited release. We have been talking about making a pilgrimage to our sister city for some indulgence for a long time. The first of many to come, it was a cold weekend in Portland where we sampled sours, limited ales, barrel aged porters, and double IPA's from the fine craftsmen at:
• Deschutes Brewery
• Upright Brewery
• Base Camp Brewery
• Cascade Brewing
• Green Dragon
• Hair of the Dog
We beer'd for almost 12 hours. The next morning we made stops at Voodoo Doughnuts and a convenience store for Tums, Advill, and Soda for my hangover - LOL. Nice trip Parks, can't wait for a Spring session.
