We made a very irrational (but rationally planned) decision to stop talking about it, dreaming about it, complaining about it, waiting for the right time...We got a dog and we are so happy.
Our little lady is a Miniature Goldendoodle born in Montana. She will be here on the 8th of December and is not going anywhere for a long time. We can't wait for puppy kisses, playing ball down the hallway, cleaning up poop (not really), but most of all having a new buddy. We are a little nervous as any first-time parent should be, but we know we can't fail.
We have been debating names for awhile now and can't make a decision. I hope we figure that out soon but it may be determined when we meet her.
