Solo mission on the hill today. I got to test my AK replacement and the results are pretty great. This model is lighter than my last one and has less pockets and what feels to be a lesser quality material. It is sill Gore and the best that Burton makes, so I know I will stay dry with it. I am enjoying my updated green color, but I think my other jacket was better quality. I didn't have much choice for a replacement so this is the best of what was available so late in the season. It snowed all day and turned out to be very fun. I spent my day on the backside seeking hidden stashes of powder and riding anything that looked soft. There was a lot to ride and the hill was pretty empty but I burned out pretty fast.
