My first Yakima float trip and Sarah's 1 millionth. This could be our new summer outing with our crew since the ocean property is now ocean. I had a blast but it isn't hard to have a good time floating in a beautiful valley with your best friends, your dog, and a raft full of Rainier. We got Lola some boots so she wouldn't pop my boat and they worked just fine. She did great, we were all very surprised. I actually think she had a killer time, she really looked relaxed on the river. Scott and Hurly were the captains of the float which was awesome because Scott had an arsenal of vesicles to tied together for a float megaton. This area of Eastern Washington is really incredible. The valley we drove into was an amazing windy canyon road. The rock walls had tons of history in them, a very different place then we tend to visit. The campsite wasn't anything to marvel at, but it's proximity is awesome because it is where the float ends. We just got off the water and walked to our site, not bad! We partied very hard and had some extra fun. David ran into some trouble with some unnoticed NERDS that we are still yet to find. You know, those NERDS broke his glasses. Man, we had some killer conversations, I haven't laughed that hard in my life.
