Shred Day 11 - 09/10 Season

Stevens Pass 01.30.10

A variety of events on this 11th day of happiness. After some successful powder stash hunting off of Southern Cross, I think I boarded my self sick. I got real nautious around noon, maybe it was all the beer I drank with Erik the night before. Before that, the morning was awesome. There was a couple new inches and lot's to get on the backside since Southern Cross was not running. I found a bunch of creative lines and ran until my legs burned for mercy. I took off around 12:30 for some Sultan Bakery salvation but first I stopped at this antique store I have been eying for awhile. Before I entered, I took a nap in the parking lot which was probably weird for them to see but very needed for my stomach. They had a lot of great stuff but it was very expensive which was a bummer. Still thinking about a couple items, but that is the thing about collecting old packaging examples - there is always more out there at some other joint. Powered up from the dust breathing, I headed to the Bakery for lunch. They make a great Chowder - get it. I paired it was this Apple Cup thing I have been looking at for 3 years now, today was the day. Basically an apple fritter baked in a deep cup pan - really tasty, but still not a Top Pot.
