5.5 Months
No Doodle babies. As much as I want them, we don't have the square footage...or the proper male. I will leave the baby making up to the pro's out there. When we brought her home from the Vet, I didn't even recognize her. Her eyes were huge and dark and she was so scared! At one point we caught her sitting and she was swaying slowly back and forth like she was on a boat. We kept waiting for her to fall over. Drugs are bad, mmmkay. Her incision looks great, but there is some bruising which is to be expected.
The last 5 days has been weird, almost like we have a different dog. With the cone on, she can't do a lot of her normal doggie things so she is very mellow and sad. She can't fit in her crate, so she has been sleeping in the bathroom and watching her scratch her ears through plastic is kinda hilarious. The cone also makes her twice as clumsy and she bumps into everything. She is now only wearing her cone for a few hours and is back to normal. Still fuzzy, still full of love.
