Sarah's first day! Riding with Sarah is just as much fun as riding an epic powder session. She is so happy on the hill, it is awesome to share that. It has been very rainy all week and we only received snow in the last 3 days. When you dug really deep, you could feel the ice, but there was just enough to stay a float, making it a pretty fun conditions. But the real story was Sarah breaking her fear of powder and learning how to ski it. She loved it! I have been telling her for 6 years now that powder is why we do this, I think she is on board now. I was so proud of her, like watching a baby walk for the first time. I would be damned if that girl didn't try a jump and wall rides too - OH hell yeah she did! Groundbreaking day for Sarah. The lady was smoked after 3 hours, so it was a short day. We made a stop at Sultan Bakery for some goodies and were greeted with the most amazing snowfall I have ever seen. It looked like a foam party! Two inch flakes at least were falling and SPLATTING, not sticking on surfaces. It was unreal. When he hit your face, your whole face was wet, not just a spot on your face. We just looked in the sky smiling.
