Down Under Update-011

We live on a canal and we don't have a boat but we do have 30.00 and live above a boat hire. We loved rowing around in a pair of kayaks gazing at all of the waterfront properties at the silky smooth pace of our paddles. The view of the skyline is really something from the water. I think we are going to make a habit of this except we need to go early in the day so we are not paddling agains the current. Our last 20 minutes was a grind, if you stopped you would go backwards.

I spent my 31st birthday reading and drinking in my favorite coffee shop. I love the creative vibe and music this place offers, it is way too cool for Surfers Paradise. I had my first dirty chai and I am now hooked. I also had an incredible Wit from Italy that kinda blew my mind. Later that evening Sarah took me to dinner at our Surf Club. I had a steak with pepper sauce and bugs (mini lobsters) and cheese cake. S surprised me with a surf lessons package that I am still smiling about. I can't wait to get in the water and see what's what.
